This summer Kaitlyn had swimming lessons through the city at Alta Loma High School. This program was AWESOME for her!! She had 4 weeks of lessons 5 days a week a half hour for each lesson. there were only 5 kids in her class. We will definitely be doing it again next year.
The first day of class she sat on the side of the pool and cried the whole time... I felt sorry for the teacher. I told Kaitlyn we she was coming every day for 20 days, she better get in the pool! By the end of her 4 weeks, you would have never guessed she was afraid her first day. She can front float, back float, swim to and from the wall with her head under water and everything..... next she has to learn to breath while swimming so she can get out of the 3 feet of water... every time she needs to breath she stops and stands up, so she won't go where she can't touch! It's so cute and amazing to watch her grow in her abilities!
